Giddy Glass

Giddy Glass is the passion project of an artist based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The artist's fascination with glass, both coloured and clear, stretches back as far as they can remember. Their journey began with making lampwork beads in Cambridge and has since expanded to staining, fusing, and slumping glass.

The artist behind Giddy Glass is inspired by the endless possibilities of working with glass. They compare the experience of displaying glass, whether worked or unworked, to being a child in a sweet shop. This sense of excitement and fascination is what gives Giddy Glass its name.

Giddy Glass products are made in a studio in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The artist moved there from Cambridge and has been saving up for equipment and materials to continue their glasswork.

Giddy Glass uses a variety of techniques in their work, including staining, fusing, and slumping glass. The artist was introduced to these techniques during stained glass evening classes and has been experimenting with them ever since.

Giddy Glass started experimenting with its world in February 2016. However, the artist's passion for glass stretches back much further.

The name Giddy Glass reflects the artist's love and fascination for glass. Just like how a child would get giddy in a sweet shop, the artist feels the same excitement when working with or displaying glass.
