You can control the heat of the charcoal on your hookah by adjusting the number of charcoal pieces used, rotating or flipping them periodically, and using a wind cover or heat management device to regulate airflow and heat distribution.

The main components of a hookah include the base (filled with water), stem, bowl (for tobacco), hose, mouthpiece, and sometimes additional accessories like a wind cover or heat management device.
