Great idea, poor execution

I was looking for a bubbler that I could remove the bottom section for easier cleaning, as I felt the weak link of every bubbler is cleaning. This one looked to fit what I was looking for. Unfortunately, after using it 3 times and cleaning it once, the epoxy holding the metal screw pieces to the glass has come loose on both the top and bottom. I don’t feel like this is an isolated incident since it happened on both sides. I use Epoxies all the time at work and I had concerns that this may happen. I’ll probably try to fix it with a better adhesive. I feel that this piece was made to look good sitting, but not very functional for everyday use, it’s more of a novelty item, which for the price, is pretty ridiculous.
