This is the largest Kozo grinder with a classic four-piece layout: a 4 inch body machined from anodized aluminum, with a lid, grinding chamber, storage chamber and kief collection tray. The extra-wide diameter lets you process a lot of herb in one pass, so it is easier to prep for a group or a full week than with a smaller grinder. Diamond-shaped teeth cut the material, a stainless steel screen filters pollen into the bottom tray, and a neodymium magnet keeps the lid secured. A small scraper comes with it for collecting the kief. Nine colors are offered, including Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Multicolor, with the Kozo logo on the lid.

Size is the trade-off here. A 4 inch grinder is a stationary tool, and it is less portable than the smaller options in our 4-part grinders. It pairs well with a bigger container, so a few stash jars are a sensible add-on for storing a larger ground batch. What is the best way to put the 4 inch Kozo back together?

Turn the pieces counter-clockwise a quarter-turn until the threads settle, then tighten clockwise. That avoids cross-threading, which is the usual cause of a grinder that binds.

Clean the threads first, then wipe on a tiny drop of food-grade mineral oil and wipe off the excess. Always let the pieces dry fully after any alcohol soak.
