GRAV Helix 8.75 Inch Clear Straight Base Fixed Downstem Bong

The Helix is built around its mouthpiece. Air enters the chamber through intake holes and spins the smoke on its way up, which is meant to cool the draw before it reaches you. Below that, a fission downstem pushes smoke through the water first, so this is a straightforward straight-base water pipe with one distinctive feature rather than a stack of add-ons. Reviewers mention a smooth hit even when taking a big draw, and one calls out the thick glass and sturdy base.

The downstem is fixed in place, so there is no separate piece to fit, match, or lose. The trade-off is that it cannot be swapped out, so it suits someone who wants a simple, ready-to-fill pipe more than a piece to customize. If you like this style, the GRAV collection has more from the same brand.

One thing to know before buying: the joint sits at a 90-degree angle, which is why we list this piece with our dab rigs, but it ships with a flower bowl only. If you plan to use concentrates, you will need to buy a banger separately, and it must match this joint's size, gender, and angle as listed in the specifications.

The GRAV Helix™ Clear Straight Base Fixed Downstem Water Pipe is a user-friendly and efficient cannabis accessory. Here's how to use it:

1. Fill the base of the pipe with approximately 2" of water.
2. Take the 14mm Helix™ Taster® Bowl and pack it with your favorite flower.
3. Insert the bowl into the female joint of the water pipe.
4. Light the bowl and inhale through the Venturi chamber mouthpiece.
5. The smoke will be cooled and spun by the three air intake holes, resulting in a smooth hit.
6. Remember to clean the pipe after each use to maintain its optimal condition.
