This GRAV octobowl is a bong bowl with a screen built into the glass, which is the main thing that separates it from a plain slide. The screen is meant to hold back ash and tar, and the side arm gives you something to grip when you seat the bowl in the joint or pull it out.
Because it is a female bowl, it only works with a piece that has a male joint, so check the joint gender and size on your bong or bubbler before ordering. The bowl is large, which makes it a better match for bigger water pipes and upright bubblers than for compact pieces. If you want to compare other styles, browse the Bong Bowls collection, or see more from the GRAV collection.
It suits anyone who wants a screened bowl with a handle without changing the rest of their setup. The trade-off is the screen itself: one buyer reported that it comes loose from the bowl very easily during cleaning, leaving just an open bowl, so handle it gently when you clean it.

The Official DankGeek Review
Our staff review of the GRAV Octobowl 14mm Female Glass Screen Bong Bowl from GRAV.
Elevate Your Smoking Game with GRAV 14mm Female Octobowl
As a staff blogger at DankGeek, I've had the opportunity to try out a variety of smoking accessories, and the GRAV 14mm Female Octobowl is one of the best I've used. This top-quality octobowl is designed with a glass screen that catches ash and tar, giving you a clean hit every time. The arm on the side of the bowl makes it easy to handle, so you can smoke comfortably. The substantial capacity of this bowl is perfect for use with larger water pipes and upright bubblers, making it a great choice for both seasoned smokers and beginners.
Pros
Quality Materials: The GRAV 14mm Female Octobowl is made from high-quality glass that feels sturdy and durable. The glass screen is designed to catch ash and tar, providing a clean smoking experience.
Easy to Use: The arm on the side of the bowl makes it easy to handle, even for beginners. The 14mm female joint fits male joints, making it compatible with a variety of water pipes and bubblers.
Substantial Capacity: The large capacity of this bowl is perfect for use with larger water pipes and bubblers, allowing you to pack more smoking material and enjoy longer smoking sessions.
Cons
Fragile: The glass screen can come detached from the bowl very easily while cleaning, so you need to be careful when cleaning it. If the glass screen does come off, you're left with a pre-roll to bong adapter.
Overall
The GRAV 14mm Female Octobowl is a high-quality smoking accessory that is perfect for anyone looking to elevate their smoking game. The glass screen catches ash and tar, providing a clean smoking experience, while the arm on the side of the bowl makes it easy to handle. The substantial capacity of this bowl is perfect for use with larger water pipes and bubblers, allowing you to enjoy longer smoking sessions. Although the glass screen can come detached from the bowl very easily while cleaning, this is a minor issue that can be easily avoided with some caution. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a top-quality smoking accessory.
