Eyce ORAFLEX Floral Spoon

The Eyce ORAFLEX Floral Spoon was the first pipe in Eyce's ORAFLEX line, and it shows off what that build does best. ORAFLEX stands for Overmolded Rubber Art: two layers of platinum-cured silicone, with a clear outer layer over the floral design. That clear coat gives the pipe real depth and a glossy finish, so it looks more like a handblown glass spoon than a typical silicone pipe. The body is shaped for an ergonomic grip that sits comfortably in your hand, and the bowl is borosilicate glass, so your herb burns against glass rather than silicone. When it is time to clean, the glass bowl pops out, which makes maintenance quick and simple.

The silicone body is the reason to pick this over glass. It shrugs off the drops and knocks that would break a glass spoon, which makes it a good fit for pockets, bags, and outdoor sessions. The trade-off is that the bowl is still glass, so it can break if it takes a hard hit, and silicone tends to collect lint and dust if it rides loose in a pocket. If the bowl ever chips, an Eyce replacement glass bowl swaps right in without replacing the whole pipe. If you want a spoon that looks like art glass but survives everyday life, the Floral Spoon delivers both. It is a great first silicone pipe and an easy gift for anyone who keeps breaking glass.
