“ Folks looking for a portable vaporizer emitting copious clouds of vape should look elsewhere. But folks seeking a super discrete personal portable vaporizer with a brilliant design will find a lot to like in this DaVinci Miqro. DaVinci has done a lot right here. I especially like the removable battery, USB charging (and plug-and-play if your battery has discharged completely), and the vibration when the unit has reached the pre-selected temperature. Though I usually prefer vaporizers that let you select a particular temperature, I find the Miqro's 4-Path temperature system very effective. Path 1 starts at 350 degrees and ramps up to 370; my normal starting temperature with the DaVinci Ascent is 365. Then Path 2 covers the range 370-390, Path 3, 390-410, and Path 4, 410-430. These temperatures are well-chosen to maximize both the flavor and efficacy of your herb. The Miqro will also let you set it to a particular temperature, but the single-digit LED readout makes the job a bit cumbersome. The Paths are as effective and easier to implement... I should add that the Miqro delivers excellent flavor. Just the taste of the herb -- no metal or chemical off-taste. For such a little unit -- the Miqro is just a little larger than a cigarette lighter -- the Miqro has a pretty commodious bowl. Grind a bud, pack it in, and you're good to go. The Miqro has an adjustable tamper they call a "bead" that compresses your herb in the oven to maximize baking evenness. A neat idea, as is the removable vapor path (making for easy cleaning with rubbing alcohol) and stirring tool tucked into a slot in the top compartment. Finally, in the "please and delight" category, the Miqro signs off with some word of affirmation like "Ecstasy" when you turn it off. Yes, good night, Miqro, you sleep tight yourself! I got the cobalt blue Miqro, and it really is a thing of beauty, priced right at around $150. What's not to like? ”
