The Vortex is the recycler in the Seed of Life family where the water visibly spins rather than simply looping. Angling the return so it enters the chamber off-centre sets the whole body of water turning, and once it is moving it stays moving through the entire draw. That constant rotation keeps fresh water meeting the smoke instead of the same portion doing all the work, which is why it holds its cooling across several dabs in a row. The joint is 14mm female at 90 degrees, and both a bowl and a banger are included so nothing else is needed to start.
Replacements and upgrades in the same fitting come from our bong bowls and quartz bangers ranges. Two colourways are listed in the Calibear collection. One practical note about spinning water: get the level wrong and the vortex either fails to form at all or climbs high enough to reach the neck. It is more sensitive to fill level than a still-chamber rig, so expect to spend a session finding the right amount.
