Description

Putting a working recycler into 4.7 inches is the trick here. Most nectar collectors run vapor straight through a single chamber, but this one cycles water continuously while a showerhead percolator handles the diffusion, so vapor gets cooled twice over on a very short journey. In practice that means you can take a bigger pull off a hot tip without it catching in your throat, which is the main thing that limits how usable a small dab straw is. Like its shorter sibling it pairs a ceramic tip with a titanium joint, keeping the flavour clean where it matters and the durability where it gets handled.

The body is borosilicate and the colour runs through the glass, with four options to choose from. See how it compares to simpler designs across our dab straws selection, or look at the rest of the range in the Calibear collection. The honest catch with a recycler this small is cleaning: there's a lot of internal path packed into under five inches and none of it is reachable, so it needs soaking after most sessions rather than a weekly clean.

The one to buy if you want rig-like smoothness in something you can hold in one hand. Best for people who dab often enough to keep on top of the maintenance.

FAQ about Calibear Recycler Nectar Collector With Showerhead Percolator

Does a recycler really make a difference at this size?

Yes, more than you'd guess. Cycling the water means it passes the vapor more than once over a very short path, so bigger pulls stay comfortable. Against a plain straw of the same length the difference in harshness is obvious.

How much water does it hold?

Very little, and that's the point. A small amount covering the showerhead is all it takes. Too much and you'll pull water through on a hard draw, which on a piece held at an angle happens more easily than on a rig.

How often does it need cleaning?

More often than a simple dab straw. There's a full recycler path packed into under five inches and none of it can be reached mechanically, so residue that sets in stays. A soak after most sessions keeps it working properly.

Which should I pick, this or the shorter bell version?

This one if smoothness on bigger pulls matters most, the bell if you want the simplest thing to keep clean and carry. The half inch of extra length is irrelevant, the recycler versus a single chamber is the actual decision.
