Mechanically this is the same tube as the standard Sol Straight, with the SOL downstem perc below and a super 4 Seed of Life perc above, but the whole exterior has been sandblasted. Calibear etch it deep rather than giving it a light surface pass, which is what stops a blasted finish looking patchy after a few months. On a 16 inch tube that texture earns its place: a tall tube full of water is heavy and awkward to lift, and frosted glass grips where polished glass slides through wet hands. The joint is 18.8mm, with an 18.8mm downstem and a 14.5mm glass bowl included.
Replacements for the 14.5mm bowl are in our bong bowls range, and the polished version of this same tube sits alongside it in the Calibear collection if you would rather see through it. The cost of the frosting is visibility: you cannot see the water level, the perc working, or how dirty the inside is getting, so cleaning becomes a scheduled job rather than something you notice needing done.
