The raised bubble accents on this one are the detail worth noticing, because they do two jobs at once. Visually they carry the celestial theme against the swirling wig wag colour, and practically they give your fingers something to grip on a piece you are constantly lifting on and off the device. That is a rare case of decoration earning its place. At 5 inches with a pinhole perc it keeps the airflow open rather than trading draw for diffusion. This is the Focus V Carta version, cut for that fitting specifically. Five colourways.

Is 5 inches a lot of glass on a Carta?

It is mid-range. Taller than the stock glass so the balance shifts upward, but well short of the 7 inch attachments that make the device genuinely awkward. It still will not fit a case with the glass attached.
