Rupert's Drop

Rupert's Drop is a unique glass art that has been around since the 1600s. It is formed by dripping molten glass into cold water, which causes it to solidify into a tadpole-shaped droplet.

Rupert's Drop is made by melting the end of a glass rod with a high thermal expansion coefficient and letting the resulting red hot molten glass drop into cold water.

The strength of the glass droplets makes them very durable and long-lasting.

Rupert's Drop can be used to create jewelry and decorative pieces.
