Right out of the box, the Switch GO is pure plug-and-play. You get five perfectly calibrated onboard temperature profiles, ranging from a flavor-first 400°F to a cloud-chasing 540°F. These are controlled by simple tactile buttons and a vibrant LED ring. No phones, no pairing, just click and rip.
But if you want to geek out, the device is fully app-enabled. Connecting to the Dr. Dabber app unlocks single-degree temperature adjustments and custom standby light shows. It also unlocks Dynamic Heating Modes, including Ascent and Descent modes that actively mimic the natural heat curve of a traditional quartz banger and torch setup.
Warnings and Trade-Offs
There are two things you need to know that aren't highlighted in the marketing materials.

The Finish Warning: The Blue Onyx finish on the Switch GO looks incredible, but Isopropyl Alcohol will permanently ruin the exterior finish of the body. While you must use 99% ISO to clean the internal quartz cup and the glass attachment, keep it far away from the outside of the rig. Only wipe the body with a damp, soapy towel.

The Heat Trade-off: Induction gets hot, fast. The titanium heating chamber and the quartz cups can easily cause burns if you touch them right after a hit. Always use tweezers when swapping cups, and let the unit cool for 20 minutes if you run three consecutive sessions.
