This GRAV adapter solves one specific mismatch: two pieces that both have female joints and cannot connect to each other directly. It has a male joint on each end, so it sits between the two and bridges them. It is a single-purpose glass connector, not a joint size converter.
Before ordering, check that both pieces you want to join are female 19mm joints. If one side is already male, this is the wrong adapter, and matching size alone does not guarantee a good fit, so check gender on both sides. Customers have used it with a female domeless nail and a female 19mm bowl. If you are still sorting out your setup, the bong parts and accessories collection has related pieces, and the GRAV collection shows what else the brand makes.
Reviewers describe it as solid and well built, though that comes from a small group of four reviews. It suits anyone who owns two female-jointed pieces they want to use together and does not want to replace either one.
