I am no expert, but I enjoy how it hits. Not unbelievably smooth but it has a very comfortable mouth feel. It sits really well in my hands. It's maybe a little small for my BF. It's about four inches in length. The only "con" is that the glass nipples sit on the bottom when you are actually smoking from it. It works as a good foot to keep the pipe standing while you still have weed in your bowl, but I guess it means you aren't always able to see and enjoy that design feature.
